Framed Swedish Pressed Flowers

These vintage pressed flowers were gathered along Swedish meadows and forest edges when botanizing was both science and pastime. Each stem was flattened between paper to preserve a moment in the landscape, complete with handwritten labels that feel like pages from a personal field journal. We sourced them through a Swedish collector of historic herbarium pages.

Each one has been custom framed to honor its character and make it ready to hang. 

Sold separately or together. We have a number of additional herbarium prints in this same size, each with its own unique character. Due to the age and nature of these items, there are variations in paper tone, pressed petals, and handwritten notes.
